Suno launches speech generation feature in public beta

AI music generation platform Suno has introduced a new speech generation feature and said it is now in public beta. The tool can generate human voice output from either a script or a prompt-style description, and it also allows users to create narration and background music at the same time. According to Suno, the release expands its audio capabilities beyond music-only generation. Chief Product Officer Jack Brody said music remains central to the company, but Suno’s vision has always extended to other forms of human expression. He described Speech as Suno’s first audio model that can generate both spoken voice and music in a single workflow. The update marks a product expansion for the platform as it moves into speech-based audio creation while keeping music at the center of its offering.
